Rescue Row, a well-known animal rescue organization, needed a transformative rebrand to modernize its image and revitalize its connection with the community. Faced with declining adoption rates and engagement, they turned to my partner, Eva, and me to overhaul their brand identity and craft strategic marketing materials. Our goal was to create a visual identity and marketing campaigns that would not only resonate emotionally with animal lovers but also drive tangible results like increased adoptions, event participation, and volunteer sign-ups.

Comprehensive Rebrand: Together, we conceptualized and executed a bold new brand identity for Rescue Row. We refreshed the logo, typography, and color palette, striking the perfect balance between modernity and compassion to position the organization as a welcoming and trustworthy community resource.

Strategic Marketing Collateral: Our work extended beyond the rebrand to a wide range of printed and digital marketing materials, including event flyers, t-shirt designs, and social media ads. I spearheaded the design elements while Eva crafted messaging that resonated with both new and existing audiences. These materials were specifically tailored to increase visibility for Rescue Row’s events and services.

Digital Campaigns: Together, we developed highly engaging social media campaigns that amplified Rescue Row’s online presence. The campaigns were designed to highlight adoption events, promote spay and neuter drives, and encourage volunteer participation. Through eye-catching visuals and carefully crafted content, we significantly boosted the organization’s online engagement.

Working with Rescue Row involved ensuring that all digital and print assets remained consistent with their established brand, which required careful attention to detail. One of the main challenges was creating varied materials—from social media graphics to event flyers—while keeping the visual style cohesive across all platforms. Coordinating with a team of five people also meant managing different ideas and feedback, requiring efficient communication and quick decision-making to stay on track. Despite these hurdles, I focused on adapting designs quickly to meet tight timelines and ensure that all assets were delivered without compromising quality.

Our rebrand and marketing initiatives delivered outstanding results that exceeded Rescue Row’s expectations:

Event Success: Within just 3 hours, all tickets for the spay and neuter event sold out, directly attributed to the compelling promotional materials we designed. Similarly, the entire stock of custom-designed t-shirts sold out within 1 hour during a fundraising event.

Social Media Impact: Our social media campaigns led to a 50% increase in engagement, drawing new followers and driving higher interaction rates.

Volunteer Growth: The marketing efforts resulted in a significant uptick in volunteer sign-ups, ensuring Rescue Row had the support needed to continue its mission.
